We The People was founded in 1996 in Cologne, Germany by Klaus Dyba and Harry Schmidt. Today, and more than ever, the company reflects the values of its founders: functionality and quality.

The proof is in the details too. Upper-end frames use investment-casting technology that creates stress-relieved junctions and allows welds to be moved away from complex surface areas. The single tubes are not just welded onto each other, but there are internal bosses that slide right into the tube it’s being welded to. This leaves smoother welds and makes a much stronger frame with fewer weak spots.

We The People also designs and fabricates stellar BMX components. From forks, bars, cranks and stems, to pegs, hubs, sprockets and headsets. That means lower-end bikes get better parts and color schemes are matched to the last detail — it’s a beautiful thing.
